It is now well-known that you do not need a degree to be a succesful, productive software developer. Anyone with average intelligence, passion and determination can become a software developer. There are so many talented, unemployed young people that can be productively employed if they can just get the right training.
Xolani came to us in 2017, with a matric pass and no money as his mother was a domestic worker and had more siblings to care for. He passed our entry test and was awarded a bursary to study and pay off when employed. Today in 2022 he is earning a 7 figure annual income working at one of South Africa's blue chip banks.
Nine out of ten applications we receive, are in the same boat than he was. We can also make them succesful with the help of donors who support upliftment.
