It all comes together in a capstone project — either a full-stack web app or an AI/robotics build, depending on which modules you've taken along the way. Pioneer Coders spans four years — ages 14, 15, 16 and 17. Each year of 40 hours earns an annual certificate, and the full pathway adds up to 160 hours. Rather than one fixed syllabus, learners fill their hours from a growing library of book-based project modules — covering JavaScript, robotics, AI, full-stack development and databases — so there's always more to choose from than the minimum, and two learners can take very different routes through Pioneer Coders and still graduate with the same certificate.

A note on module availability: we can only run a module once enough learners are interested in it at the same time. If a specific module doesn't have enough demand to form a class — for example, a Raspberry Pi group with too few students while an Arduino cohort is already running — we may suggest joining the active group instead, so learners aren't left waiting alone for a class to fill.
Complete all 4 years (ages 14–17) — each covering a minimum of 40 hours from the core curriculum and Module Library — and finish with the capstone: either a full-stack web application or an AI/robotics build, depending on the modules completed along the way — ready to show universities and employers. Graduates earn the Pioneer Coders Bootcamp Certificate, plus a formal pathway into Code College's adult professional bootcamps.
