What you will learn

  • MERN Stack - as a popular web development environment
  • Git / Github as a workflow tool enabling team collaboration in a Web Dev team
  • React as a popular front-end tool as it is used outside teh MERN Stack
  • Putting everything together to build full-stack apps with a React Front-End and a Node.JS or any API Back-End
  • Develop various apps utilising popular API's or your own Node.JS Backend and Databases like MongoB, Firebase

What do I need?

  • A laptop with at least 8Gb RAM, and a STABLE internet connection, the recommended minimum speed is around 10 Mbps, an extended monitor
  • Live Online Training: A workspace at home which is quiet and without distractions
  • Classroom Training : We have resumed classroom training complying with strict social distancing guidelines, even smaller classes as before
  • Full-time or part-time : If you are employed and want to do it part-time, yes we do have part-time classes
  • Classroom Training : Always on in Woodmead (Adhering to Covid guidelines - ventilated rooms, no air conditioners on)

Mastered MERN Stack as a programming language to connect to databases, use data structures and publish API's for use by anyone

Part Two

Data Structures and Algorithms in JavaScript

Master this topic as it is very important to use correctly in development and therefore popular in interview tests

Part Three


Master React as a programming language to develop rich front-ends connecting to API's or to build standalone apps that are responsive, multi-paged, utilise own databases like Firebase (Non - SQL) or SQL-based

Part Four

Agile, Kanban

Understand and use the basic tools like Kanban needed by Agile teams in software development

Part Five

Job Prep

During this phase we build our portfolios even more by doing more projects and interview-grade apps. We also apply for jobs and prepare for interviews at Compuways / Code College Clients
