Scratch Programming 1 | Coding For Kids

Intended Audience

  • Grade 4 - 7 (if you have done the previous stages)
  • Grade 8 - 12 (You should do this if you have not done any of the previous stages)

What do I need?

  • If Live Online Training : A laptop, and a stable internet connection. The recommended minimum speed is around 10 Mbps.
  • If Classroom Training : If you are not brining your own laptop (recommended), please let us know so we can have one ready for you.

Certification

  • A progress report will be issued for an incomplete year
  • After all classwork is completed, and the assessments passed, a Competency Certificate will be issued

Duration

  • 1 Year (40 one hour lessons, 10 per term, one per week)
  • Crash Course This course can be crashed over a periond of 1-2 weeks full-time

  • Opens up an exciting world of computer programming for kids and other beginning programmers.
  • Learn important mathematical and computer concepts to improve your creative thinking, logical reasoning, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Learn programming fundamentals as you make your very own playable video games.
