Questions about fees
How much does a coding bootcamp cost in South Africa?
At Code College, coding bootcamps start at R27,995 prepaid for the 3-month Web Programming Bootcamp. The 6-month Full-Stack Web Developer & AI Bootcamp is R56,700 prepaid and the 12-month Java & AI Software Engineering Bootcamp is R99,995 prepaid. Paying monthly costs R30,000, R66,000 and R120,000 respectively.
What is the difference between the prepaid price and monthly payments?
Prepaid means you pay the full fee upfront before the course starts, which gives you the lowest price. It applies to full-time bookings only. Monthly payments and part-time study are charged at the full price, spread evenly over the length of the course.
Can I get a student loan or pay after I find a job?
Yes. Student loans and an Income Share Agreement (no upfront payment; you repay once you're employed) are available to South African citizens and permanent residents for our coding bootcamps. Students usually choose a study loan when they want lower monthly payments than our standard monthly payments, which are spread only over the length of the course. See student funding for the details.
Do your prices include VAT?
Code College is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. The price shown is the price you pay.
Are certification exam fees included in the cybersecurity courses?
Exam fees are paid separately, and a 10% handling fee applies when Code College books exams for you. Only the Elite tier of the cybersecurity bootcamp includes exam vouchers (Security+ and CySA+).
Do you offer group rates for companies?
Yes. Group rates are available on short courses for teams of 3 or more. Email info@codecollege.co.za for a quote.
How much are coding classes for kids?
A 30-minute demo lesson is R150. After that, lessons are R300 each, R2,750 per school term (10 lessons), R9,900 for the school year (40 lessons), or R1,000 a month on a 12-month debit order. See Coding for Kids.
